Guinox5211 is a water-borne tackifier dispersion with high softening point. The resin component of Guinox5211 is a high grade stabilized rosin ester system designed to provide superior adhesive performance to a wide range of substrates. It has a suitable FDA status for use in food packaging applications covered by 175.105.

FEATURES 

Alkylphenol ethoxylate (APEO) free, phenol free, acid free, formaldehyde free and solvent free.  

Gives High Shear and Tack when formulated with Acrylic Polymers.

Anti-Ultraviolet, non-yellowing, improved ageing resistance.

Has excellent stability at high shear rates on all types of Coaters.

Improves adhesion to high and low energy surfaces.

Compatible with polyurethane latex, acrylics , carboxylated SBR and NR polymers.

All components are ISEGA and REACH compliant.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS 

The tackifier is specially suited to Filmic label systems. This dispersion has been specially developed to work in filmic label applications with polymers like BASF Acronal A225 to give high levels of Tack and shear. Optimum levels here are 10-25%% dry.

It is also suitable for High performance heat resistant water based Tapes.

Emulsion coating, emulsion paint, latex paint. Enhance storage stability of emulsion coatings and paint film properties.

SHELF LIFE

For a period of at least 6 months after shipment from Finjet’s production. All Guinoxs must be protected from freezing conditions. Care should be taken with handling procedures and equipment to avoid the formation of foam.
